At Morgan & Teach Wide Plank Company we believe a quality wood floor does not need man made engineering or smothering coats of dyes and plastic polymers to make it durable and beautiful. In fact, our solid and naturally treated wood floors are the most beautiful and resilient in the world. We create a wide plank floor that appreciates the natural treasure that the forest has provided, totally pre-finished with our own proprietary formulation of natural oils and waxes that stabilize and preserve the wood’s classic beauty.

At Morgan & Teach Plank Co., we follow the most stringent buying standards, utilizing only sustainable, renewably grown timber from certified foresters. We consciously chose to produce wide plank floors because doing so utilizes and maximizes the precious resource, showcasing natural beauty and grain instead of cutting away and wasting wood.
In keeping with our thoughtful concern for the outdoor environment, we also feel the atmosphere in homes and other structures should not be contaminated with toxins from chemical treatments and finishes. That’s why we created a 100% natural pre-finish from botanical oils and waxes, substances that nature intended to protect the trees to begin with. Our proprietary finish (Morgan & Teach Plank Oil) is unique in the industry, it helps stabilize the floor, is completely non-toxic, and there is absolutely no off-gassing.
We don’t stain our floors. With over 65 different species and looks to choose from in natural colors and grains ranging from yellow to black, rustic to ultra-modern, our sales consultants can help you find the right wood that meets your design goals. Because we don’t use stains or toxic finishes, our floors will never become outdated; they provide for a healthy environment where used, and our factory remains safe for our workers and neighbors.
We make floors that maximize the resource; hence we offer the longest lengths and widest widths in the business. All of our planks fall into the optimum range up to twenty two inch widths and lengths up to sixteen feet. Floors are graded within desired specifications and design parameters. Unlike narrow width and single width floors which waste wood in the ripping process, our random width and length floors are designed to honestly address issues of environmental sustainability while providing the timeless look achievable only in a real authentic wide-plank. However, if required, single widths are sometimes available upon request in certain species.
Time Saving Installation & Easy Maintenance
Since our wide plank floors are pre-finished and can be spot checked with Morgan & Teach Plank Oil anytime the need arises, there is never any need to sand and seal the floor. Your new floor can be installed by anyone with basic carpentry skills (carefully following our simple instructions).
