Our milling and finishing is nothing less than sheer perfection. We use equipment designed not for high speed efficiencies, but for optimum quality. Our floors are laser flat and our tongue and groove fit perfectly. We offer micro-bevel, eased edge, or even straight edge when requested. Our unique floor milling equipment allows us to make custom widths as wide as 40 inches and our lengths as long as 20 feet. Our nearest “competitor” can only mill widths to 12 inches. Your floor is effectively treated with our proprietary all-natural finish no less than twelve times. Our secret proprietary pre-finishing process stabilizes each plank, filling every pore with natural botanical oils and waxes that are impregnated deep into the board, assuring stability, durability, and a beautiful finish for generations.
Pure & Untainted
The wood choices are so broad that there’s no need to stain wood with toxic chemicals when there are so very many colors and grain patterns to choose from that nature can provide. So, whatever your design goals, there's a Morgan & Teach floor that will fit.
Other wood flooring products, possibly including many of those claiming to be “tung oil” finishes, can contain toxic drying agents and heavy metal hardeners that are known carcinogens and neurotoxins, including such poisons as benzene and arsenic. These products are by no means safe or sustainable and should not be welcome in your indoor environment. Resanding such floors will release these dangerous substances into your indoor environment, significantly comprimising the air quality and healthfulness of your indoor space. Such finishes will eventually need re-abrading and refinishing by professionals and cost more money to maintain over long term ownership. Even aluminum oxide finishes will scratch and discolor and will need professional refinishing over time. As engineered floors and other impermanent wood flooring systems require replacement, it will be an additional long term cost and source of landfill pollution.
